Exhibition Beepball Game with the Sirens, Saturday, June 29
Thank you to everyone who came out to support us at our Trivia and Ice Cream Fundraiser. We raised $390 for our Adaptive Sports Field!
Located just on the outskirts of Carthage, MO, our community is known as America’s Maple Leaf City, sitting on Route 66 and just a few miles north of I-44. We have several hotels that house your teams, or you stay in one of our other communities of Webb City or Joplin. Flying in? Joplin has a small regional airport, or you could fly into Springfield (45 min), or Northwest Arkansas/Bentonville (1 hr).
We are very thankful to Foreseeable Future, Community Foundation of the Ozarks, and Royal Charities for helping fund this incredible project. And to Freeman Landworx for their excavation work and construction, and Orbit Products for the footbridge.
Resources and additional information on these adaptive sports:
Beep Baseball
Beep Kickball
Blind Archery
Blind Soccer (aka 5 a side)
We are still seeking funding for additional adaptive equipment, bleachers, and safer fencing. If you would like to donate, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us or use the button below to donate to this fundraising campaign.
