We’re excited that you’re interested in working with the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community—especially those who want to explore and grow in the sport of archery, including competitive pathways.
This training is designed to equip certified archery coaches with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to effectively teach blind and visually impaired athletes. You’ll learn how to adapt your coaching style, understand the athlete experience, and work with specialized adaptive equipment used in competitive adaptive and para-archery settings.
This is more than just classroom learning—you’ll gain hands-on experience working directly with blind archers and setting up adaptive shooting environments.
Training Includes:
- 5 hours of instruction covering adaptive coaching techniques, communication, equipment, and competition pathways
- 4 hours of equipment and athlete practicum working directly with blind/visually impaired archers
Total Training Time: 9 hours
Cost: $100 per coach
