Join us February 14-18, 2025, for a Fundraising Cruise!
Someone chartered our original ship – the Joy – the WHOLE SHIP! So we had to find a new schedule and itinerary. Now, our fundraising cruise will be on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Jewel ship. Dave Steele, The Blind Poet, will still join us as our special guest and share his poetry and journey with blindness. MLV Foundation will receive $50 -$100 per cabin booked under our group package rate. Let’s fill up this ship! Here are the details for the 4-day cruise out of Tampa, Florida now:
Dates: Friday, February 14, 2025 – Tuesday, February 18, 2025
Ports of Call: Tampa, Florida, to Key West on Saturday, Great Stirrup Cay Bahamas on Sunday, Monday at Sea and returning to Tampa on Tuesday morning.
Deposit: Deposit of $125 due at booking. Payment in full is due October 17, 2024. Payment plans are available.
Group Rate on Cabins: Inclusive rates include unlimited beverage package, specialty dining (1 for each cabin member), 75 minutes free WIFI, $50 shore excursion credit, prepaid gratuities, plus fundraising donation to MLV, travel insurance, taxes, and fees.
Balcony rate: $2,418.90 per cabin ($1209.45 per person)
Oceanview rate: $2,2022.90 ($1011.45 per person)

As a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, MLV Foundation’s mission is to connect the visually impaired and blind to enhance lives, encourage independence, and expand awareness in the four-state region of Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas (MOKA).
In the four-state region, there are over 400,000 visually impaired and/or blind. The blind and visually impaired often find themselves isolated. MLV Foundation Inc hopes to help meet the social and emotional needs of this underserved population and to help give them purpose and flourish. We will strive to be independently funded and be great stewards of what we are blessed with.
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization supported via donations and fundraisers with a board of directors comprised of blind/visually impaired people and sighted alike.
